Hi everyone.

In 2010, CA Connect will be launching a support programme for CTA students in the Western Cape who are studying through UNISA. This initiative is supported and endorsed by the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA).

The programme will be run in non-business hours to accommodate students who have employment commitments, although it is also open to full-time students. The programme will be facilitated by 4 Chartered Accountants with over 10 years of teaching experience.

Features of the programme
• 4 Lectures per week
• 4 Small-group tutorials per week
• Exam and study technique support
• Supplementary notes, slides and practice questions
• Continuous monitoring of student progress

The total number of students who will be accepted into the programme in 2010 will be limited to 120. SAICA has already reserved 100 of these places.
